Yummy Stuffed Tindora/gherkins/donakaya Masala Gravy Curry For Roti and Naan


Stuffed Tindora Masala Gravy Curry/lallyrecipes
Ingredients:

500 gms Tindora/Dondakayalu
1 tea spoon jeera
2 tea spoons dhaniya
2 cardamoms
1/2 inch cinnamon
2 to 3 cloves
1 tea spoon poppy Seeds/Gasa gasalu
10  cashews
2 tbsp ground nuts
1 large onion
1 inch ginger
 8 garlic pods
1 tsp  Sesame seeds/Nuvvulu
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric/haldi
salt to taste
1/2 lemon size tamarind ball
5 tbsp of oil
Few Coriander Leaves for Garnishing


Directions

In a  Non Stick pan heat 2 tsp of oil add the chopped onions.  Fry until they turn translucent.Remove them from the pan.

Now  to the same Pan and add jeera, whole dhaniya, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, ground nuts, cashews and poppy seeds.  Fry until they turn to golden color.

Now grind all the fried ingredients along with tamarind, ginger and garlic to fine paste adding sufficient water.

 Wash Tindora and make vertical slits . By adding Salt par boil  and keep them aside.

To this paste add red chilli powder, salt to taste , haldi and sugar.  Mix well and suff the masala in to the  Tindora

Now heat 3 table spoons of oil in a pan.  Fry the left over masala in the oil and add the stuffed dondakayalu to it.  Mix well, add a cup of water and close the lid.  Cook in a low flame until the curry is done.

Serve hot The Stuffed Tindora masala by  garnish with fresh chopped coriander leaves.  Enjoy the Spicy Flavors of Tindora With Chapati Or even with Rice
