Quick making of  Tomato Capsicum Rice/lallyrecipes
Ingredients

Basmati Rice    1/2 kg  (soaked about 1/2 hr)
Potato            1 (chopped)Green Peas     1/4 Cup (Soaked about 4-5 hrs)
Chopped Ginger    1/4 teaspoon
Curry Leaves    few
Tomato            3  (chopped)
Capsicum    2 big (chopped)
Onion            2 (chopped)
Green Chilli    3
Green Cardamom    1
Bay Leaf    1
Oil            1 tbsp
Cinnamon Stick    1 inch
Cloves            2
Haldi/Turmeric Powder    1/ 4 teaspoon
Coriander Leaves    chopped 1/4cup
Salt    To taste

Cooking Directions


1.Heat kadai and add oil.

2.When the oil is hot, add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cardamom, cloves, curry leaves and chopped green chillies, chopped ginger and fry for few min.


3.Then, add chopped onion along with a pinch of salt and saute them. Then add chopped tomatoes .

4.Add the turmeric powder, green peas and then potato cubes and mix well.

5.When the tomatoes are half-cooked, add chopped capsicum and give it a good stir. Drain the water from the basmati rice and add it to the pan.


6.Stir fry the rice for 2 min and Add chopped coriander leaves to the pan


7.Finally add 2 cups of water and bring it to boil.

8.keep the flame low and cover the pan with a lid till they rice is cooked .


9. Switch of the flame and remove it to serving bowl

10. Tomato Capsicum Rice is now ready to serve with spicy Cabbage kofta curry or Raita
