Spicy Capsicum /Simla Mirchi Masala Dry Curry with Peanut Powder

Ingredients
500gm Capsicum/Simla Mirchi
1/4 cup of peanuts
1-2 tbsp of sesame seeds
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp jeera/cumin seeds
5 tbsp oil
2 tbsp dry coconut powder
1 tbsp besan
1 tbsp Jeera pwd
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp dry mango powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
salt as desired
5 garlic pods
a pinch of asafoetida/hing
Few curry leaves and Coriander leaves.
Cut Capsicum into small pieces.(Use Different colors to make recipe more colorful).
Dry roast peanuts, sesame seeds and besan separately.
Coarsely powder the peanuts and sesame seeds.
Now for masala Mix peanut, sesame powders, coconut powder, besan, red chili powder, coriander and cumin powder, dry mango powder/aamchur, turmeric powder and salt in a bowl.
Heat kadai on medium heat add 2 tbsp of oil in it.
Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, garlic pods (crushed), hing/asafoetida and curry leaves.
Keep stirring. Add Capsicum pieces and saute .
Now add spice powder then cover it and cook till the capsicum is cooked. Switch of the flame and serve Garnish with Coriander leaves/ cilantro when it is done.
Enjoy the colorful Capsicum masala curry with rice or chapati.
