How to make Simple and Delicious Chinese Fried Rice Recipe

Special Chinese Fired Rice Restaurant Style  Recipe

Ingredients 

Basmati Rice 2 cups
Tofu Fried 3/4 inch cubes 10-15
Carrots chopped 1/2 cup
Peas 1/4 cup
Celery chopped 3 Tbsp
Onions sliced 1/2 cup
Cabbage sliced 1/2 cup
Spring Onions 1/2 cup
Oil 2 Tbsp
Soya Sauce 2 tsp or as desired
Tomato Ketchup 2 tsp (Optional - I didn't use)
Chilli Garlic Sauce 1 Tbsp
Salt as per taste

Directions

Cook rice so the grains are separate and let it cool in a wide mixing bowl. It tastes better with leftover rice.

Heat the pan and add oil and saute the sliced onions.

After they are translucent, add the remaining veggies and stir fry until they are cooked but have a crunch.

Now is the time to add the sauteed tofu.

Add soy sauce, chilli-garlic sauce, salt and tomato ketchup (if using) and mix well.

Reduce the heat, and add the cold cooked rice and mix well.

Fry for about 3-5 min and remove from heat.
