Resturant Style Palak  paneer Recipe

Ingredients:
Healthy North Indian palak paneer Recipe/lallyrecipes.com

2 bunch spinach, cleaned, shredded
100 gms. Paneer made from cows' milk
1 flake garlic, crushed
1 green chillies finely crushed
1/4tsp. cumin seeds
2tsp knorr mixed veg soup
3-4 pinches asafetida powder
1 pinch garam masala powder
Salt to taste
Lemon juice to taste


Directions

1. Wash and drain spinach.
2. Boil in minimal water till soft and bright.
3. Drain, cool, grind with knorr veg soup powder, garlic, chillies.
4. Heat a heavy or nonstick pan, add cumin seeds.
5. When roasted add asafetida and ground spinach.
6. Add all other ingredients, except Paneer and lemon juice.
7. Stir, cover and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
8. Add Paneer and lemon juice.
9. Simmer further for 2 minutes stir gently.
10. Pour into serving dish.
11. Serve hot with wheat flour phulkas, or steamed brown rice
