Homemade Simple Bengal Gram Stuffed Bread Snack Recipe for Kids

Directions

For making Dough:


    Make a soft dough with wheat flour and water.
    Cover with muslin cloth and keep aside for 15-20 min.

For making stuff:

    Wash and soak split bengal gram for 3-4 hour.

    In a grinder, add soaked split bengal gram, garlic, ginger, green chilli, coriander leaves and grind it.

    Make fine paste and transfer in bowl.

    Heat the oil in a pan, add carom seed and bengal gram paste, fry for 4-5 min.

    Add salt and dry mango powder.

    Fry it till the dal becomes dry and stir continuously.

    Transfer into dinner plate and keep aside, allow to cool.

    Make two medium size bread, place the 2 tbsp of stuffing on the one bread and cover it with the second one.

    Cook on a pre-heated tawa on a low flame and place the stuff bread.

    Spread little oil on the bread and shallow fry

    Turn it again and pour oil on the other side.

    Cook it till the bread becomes golden brown and crispy.

    Serve hot split bengal gram bread with yogurt.
