Quick Making of Chennai Spicy Sambar Powder Recipe

Channa dal                    1 cup
Coriander seeds             1 cup
Fenugreek seeds (Methi)   2 tsp
Hing                                1/2 tsp
Red chillies                      8-10


Directions

Dry roast the bengal gram along with Coriander seeds and red chillies. Make sure they dont burn.Add the asafoetida (Hing ) and roast somemore until it turns reddish golden in color.

Cool a bit and in a completely dry processor grind it into a powder.

Store it in an air tight container.

Enjoy the Spicy  and Very tasty Sambhar as Weekend Special at your Home
