Ingredients:
1 liter whole milk
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
1\4 cup butter
1 sached gelatin which is 10 grams.
For Garnishing
Jaggery syrup,Cashews and wafers
Method:
Boil milk slowly in low flame stirring continuously till it becomes half. Keep it aside and do not allow to form cream on the top. To avoid creaming, keep stirring now and then till it cools off.
Add water to gelatin and let it allow to expand.
Now beat butter with sugar, add vanilla essence and warm milk. See that the sugar and butter mix with milk. If necessary boil for a while.
Bring it to room temperature or warm and add soaked gelatin. Mix till gelatin dissolves completely into the milk mixture. keep stirring.
Transfer the mixture into freezer and let it freeze for a couple of hours till the edges of the mixture solidifies.
Now take out the mixture, scrap the edges and beat till almost soft and when bubbles start appearing, stop beating.
In this way the air is incorporated into the ice cream to avoid ice crystals and to make it soft .
Get it freezed overnight.
Garnish with jaggery syrup, cashews and waffers
