For the Batter :-
1 cup Gram flour (besan)
1/4 tsp cooking soda
1tsp red chilli powder
salt to taste
oil for deep frying.
10 Large green chilli
For stuffing
1/2 kg potatoes(boiled and peeled)
1 tsp Red chilli powder
1tsp garam masala powder
1tsp chaat masala
Salt to Taste
For Garnish
2 Onions
Fried Pea nuts
Chopped coriander leaves
Lemon Juice
Directions
Slit green chillies and remove seeds.
Put them in boiling water for 2 mins and remove them set aside.
Grate the boiled potatoes and add red chilli powder,garam masala powder,chaat masala,green coriander and salt.
Mash it and mix well.
Stuff a little of this mixture into the green chilly and also cover the chilly with this potato mixture.
Now prepare a thick batter using besan,cooking Soda,red chilly powder,salt and about one cup of water.
Let the batter stand for ten minutes.
Heat oil in a frying pan .
Dip stuffed green chilly into the besan batter and deep fry until light brown and crispy.
Remove and drain on the Paper napkin.
Cut them partly in the middle to make two parts
Garnish With Onions ,Fried peanuts and Coriander.
Sprinkle Lemon On the Top
Serve hot with sauce.
