How to make Simple and Tasty Carrot Halwa or Gajar ka Halwa

Ingredients
Grated carrot – 1 cup
Sugar – 1/2 to 3/4 cup
Ghee – 1/4 cup
Milk – 1 cup
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Grated badam – 1 table spoon ( for garnishing)
Directions
Add grated carrot and the milk together in a vessel r and pressure cook , leaving 4 to 5 whistles and simmer it for 5 minutes.
Let the cool down and release automatically.
In a thick bottom kadai season the grated badam and set aside.
Now pour the cooked carrot and add the sugar to it and keep stirring continuously. The mixture will start thickening.
Add the ghee and keep stirring till the halwa does not stick to the pan and there is a mild froth.
Switch if the stove and add the cardamom powder and transfer it another container to avoid further thickening and hardening of the halwa.
Garnish it with fried kaaju and badam.
