Cauliflower – 1 ( medium size)
Maida – 3/4 cup ( maida or all purpose flour)
Corn flour – 1 tbl spoon
Chilly powder – 1 tsp
Vinegar – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp ( to taste)
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Onion – 1 cup ( finely chopped )
Bell pepper – 1/2 cup ( chopped length wise)
Soya sauce – 2 tbsp.
Tomato ketchup – 2 tbsp.
Ajinomoto – 1/4 tsp (optional)
Spring onion – 1 tbsp. ( for garnishing)
Oil – for preparing fritters and sauteing
Method
Cut the gobi into small petals. Soak it in salt water for 10 minutes. Drain the gobi and half cook it.
Make a thick paste using corn flour , maida, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, and vinegar. Add water as required. Toss the gobi in the paste , deep fry in hot oil and set aside.
Now in a pan apply 2 tbsp. of oil and sauté the onion, ginger garlic paste for few minutes and when the onion is tender halfway add the capsicum, so that the capsicum is not over cooked and remain crunchy.
Once the onion becomes tender add the soya sauce and tomato ketchup and ajinomoto. Just sauté of 2 minutes and then add the gobi fritters. Let the curry become little dry. Garnish it with spring onions and coriander.
