How to make Simple Vegetable Bread kichdi Recipe

Ingredients

Bread - 10 slices
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Clove - 1
Cardamom - 1
Saunflower oil - 1/4 tsp
Green chilli - 3
Onion ( big ) - 1
Ginger -  a smal piece
Garlic - 2 cloves
Onion ( small ) - 3
Tomato - 1
Carrot - 1
Green peas -1/2 cup
Coconut milk - 1 cup
Curry leaves - a few
Mint leaves -  a few
Coriander leaves - a few
Salt - as needed
Oil - as needed

Cooking Directions

1. Cut onion, tomato, carrot, green chilli finely.
2. Remove brown edges of bread, crumble and set aside.
3. Grind ginger, garlic, small onion, to a paste.
4. Grate carrot.
5. Heat oil in a frying pan.
6. Add mustard, urad dal, curry leaves and when mustard splutters, add onion, green chilli and fry for a few minutes.
7. Add carrot, green peas, ground paste, tomato, mint leaves, coriander leaves and fry till raw smell subsides.
8. Add bread, salt, coconut milk and cook.
9. When contents have mixed well, add coriander leaves, stir , switch off the stove and serve when warm.
